For prenatal and postpartum specialists

Growing your business shouldn’t cost you your sanity and health.

We're Sarah and Matthew Bivens. We help prenatal and postpartum specialists build the behind-the-scenes side of their business, so it can grow without burning them out or costing them the personal touch their clients come for.

Where you might be right now

If any of this sounds like your week

  • Your calendar is full and your clients love you, and you're still more stretched than you've ever been.
  • The follow-up messages, the onboarding, the posts. They only happen when you sit down and do them yourself.
  • You've switched client management systems more than once, and you're still rescheduling people over six text messages.
  • You've added half a dozen apps to run your business. None of them talk to each other, and managing them now takes more time than they save.
  • A day off costs you three days of catching up.
  • You've thought about hiring, or tried it, and it created more managing instead of less.
  • You're proud of what you've built, and you're tired in a way a weekend doesn't fix.

You didn't do anything wrong.

You built a real business around real expertise, before you had a system underneath it to hold the weight. It's easy to read the exhaustion as a personal endurance problem. It isn't. It comes from how the business is set up, and that can be changed.

You're still the expert. You just stop being the only place the business makes sense.

Where you're headed

What it feels like when it's working

Not a different business. The same one you love, with the weight of the repeat work taken off you.

You sit down and the work is already started

Follow-ups, client messages and posts are drafted in your voice. You read, adjust and send, instead of starting from a blank page.

A new client signs up and you don't scramble

Their welcome, paperwork and first steps go out the way you'd do them yourself. One onboarding that took three hours now takes twenty minutes, and you save your time for the part only you can do, the relationship.

Your last client leaves and you're done

No pile of admin waiting for you. Notes, follow-ups and next steps are already handled, so you can close the laptop and be done.

You take a real day off

Not a day off with your phone in your hand. A day when nothing is waiting for you when you get back, because the business kept moving.

Someone new can step in

If you bring on help, the way you work is already written down in a form they can use, so they can pick it up without you explaining everything again.

You say yes to growth without dread

More clients, a new program, a bigger year, and no quiet worry that it all means more hours from you.

Your clients still feel like they're working with you, because they are. You get to feel like yourself again, and to enjoy what you've built.

How we help

We build the structure with you

We call it the Intelligent Business Workspace. It's a set of tools built around how your business actually runs: your voice, your process, your clients. Instead of writing every email and every post from scratch, you tell it what you need and it comes back sounding like you. The same goes for onboarding, follow-up, and whatever else you find yourself doing over and over.

It's built inside an AI tool of your choice, and we recommend Claude. The tool matters less than what we teach it. If you've tried a general AI tool and gotten generic results, it's usually because nobody taught it your business. That part is what we do.

Capture

We learn how your business really works.

  • A short assessment about how things run today.
  • The documents and processes that mostly live in your head. Nothing needs to be tidy first.
  • A kickoff interview, one to two hours, walking through your week together.

You see clearly what you already have and what's missing.

Build

We build and test your workspace.

  • A build plan made from your documents, assessment and interview.
  • Your projects, documents, skills and automations, built inside your own account.
  • Every piece tested and adjusted until the work it produces is something you'd sign off on.

A working system that already knows your business, your clients and your goals.

Run

We hand it over and stay with you.

  • The finished workspace, with a Build Kit and a Playbook.
  • Recorded walkthroughs you can share with your team.
  • A weekly call with both of us for the full sixty days, adjusting as you use it.

More time back, and a business that keeps moving when you step away.

Built and running in about thirty days. We stay with you for sixty.

The details

What you get, and what we ask of you

What you get

  • A kickoff call and interview to get everything started.
  • Your customized workspace, installed in your own AI account.
  • The Build Kit, a document showing exactly how everything was built for you.
  • The Playbook, showing you and your team how and when to use each piece.
  • Recorded video walkthroughs of any part of the build.
  • A weekly call with both of us personally, not a team member, for sixty days.
  • Email and Zoom support between calls, weekdays, 9 to 5 Eastern.
  • Answers to reasonable questions about your existing tools as they come up.

What we ask of you

  • Complete the business assessment.
  • Share your core business documents, as they are.
  • Come to the kickoff interview.
  • Join the weekly calls, or let us know ahead of time when you can't.
  • Give us access to your AI account, or work beside us in it if you'd rather not share access.

A note on scope. We build the business side of your practice. Nothing in your workspace is clinical guidance, and none of it is meant to inform decisions about a client's care. You stay in charge of every professional judgment in your practice.

Who this is for

An honest look at fit

We'd rather tell you early if this isn't right than have you find out later.

This is for you if

  • You're an established prenatal or postpartum fitness or nutrition specialist, with a loyal following and a full calendar.
  • You're stretched thin because you're the one doing the repeat work: the follow-ups, the onboarding, the content, the admin.
  • You've tried new software, or a general AI tool, and it hasn't made your days lighter.
  • You want your business to grow without it costing you more hours, or more of your energy.
  • You're open to using technology to take the repeat work off your plate, so you can scale yourself without scaling your workload.
  • You're ready to change how you work day to day, not just add one more tool.
  • You'll tell us what's working and what isn't, so your system keeps getting better.

This may not be for you if

  • You're not open to bringing new technology into how you run your business.
  • You feel you need to be hands-on in every part of your business, and you don't want to automate any of it.
  • You don't want things to change, and you're happy with your current setup.
  • You want a partner or agency to come in and take things over for you.

Who we are

We've been where you are, from a few different sides

Ten years ago we started Doing It At Home, the first home birth podcast of its kind, out of our own home birth journey. We grew it into a brand and a community, with a book, a course, and more than four million downloads across our two shows. It was the two of us, raising our two daughters and running another business alongside it.

We've been building businesses online since 2010: technology companies, marketing agencies, a web development firm, and more than a dozen podcasts launched for other brands. We also spent nearly a decade as health coaches for executives at some of the most successful companies in the country, so we've seen what burnout does, and what it takes to keep going for years instead of a season.

Then we pointed everything we know at our own business. One person now produces the blog posts, LinkedIn content and email sequences that used to take a whole marketing team, and about ten hours a week came back across our team. It still sounds like us.

We know this community from the inside, too. For ten years we've sat across from birth workers, midwives and other practitioners, and we care about the families you serve as much as you do.

Questions we hear

A few things people ask us

Will it actually sound like me?

Yes. Any content your customized workspace creates will sound like you and your brand. We teach it your real voice and your real content, then test it until the work it produces is something you'd happily put your name on.

Do I need to be good with technology?

No. You won't build or configure any of it yourself. We do the building, and then we show you how and when to use each piece.

How much of my time does this take?

Most of your time goes in at the start: the assessment, gathering your documents, and the kickoff interview. After that we build while you keep working, and we meet weekly to see how it's going.

Do I have to give you access to my accounts?

Either way works. Some people give us access. Others prefer we build alongside them in their own account. It's your call.

What if it doesn't work for my business?

You'll know within the first thirty days. If you're not seeing the change in productivity, efficiency or quality that you expected, tell us and we'll refund what you've paid, in full.

Does this touch my clinical work?

No. We build the business side: content, client follow-up, onboarding and the other repeating work. Your clinical judgment stays entirely yours.

Let's talk

Tell us how things are really going

Book a thirty minute conversation with both of us. We'll ask about your practice, tell you plainly whether we can help, and if we can't, we'll say so. There's no pitch.
